As architects we are forced to think about how Culture, including architecture, deals with Nature. I thus do not want to stop at simply looking at the forest, but also discuss its utilisation and cultivation. I examined one tree in more detail – the Fagus Sylvatica T 8.5.1. By using a drone to capture the tree top I could thus gain knowledge about the exact geometry of the tree. This again enabled me to apply the logic of silviculture – cutting and slicing it up, and stripping the tree down to lumber.
