In my survey of the site I looked at different scales – from the canopy and the section through the forest to small details like fungi or stones.

I have extracted certain details from this entirety, zooming in closer in order to develop an Arboreal Archive. I refer to them as core details, ‘Leitdetails’ in German, again applying the language of architecture. I intentionally work without scales in order to create and open up new spaces. The virtual camera enables different perspectives and perceptions of the forest.
