Finding itself somewhat in between science and art, architecture combines scientific technology and an exploration of creative possibilities. By creating new presentations of the forest I try to produce a new reality or a new relation to reality – to use the words of Diana Agrest. Employing tools and language rooted in architecture an understanding of the forest could be reached, showing sections, elements, isometries and core details at different scales of the forest. As a means of abstraction I traced back the points of the point cloud to line graphics.
